Things To Do

We're so excited to have our friends and family join us in our home town for our wedding. While Portland is a small town, there is a lot to do in and around Nashville.

Gannons Nashville

170 4th Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37219

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Nashville for a nice meal. Riley highly recommends the Prime Rib and the Oysters Rockefeller. Dress code is typically jeans and a nice top or dressier.

House of Cards

218 3rd Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37201

A really cool experience with dinner and a magic show. This is a speakeasy that sits below the Johnny Cash museum. You will need a reservation and I would make it earlier rather than later if this is something you want to do. Usually, the week of, they are booked. There is a dress code required.

Black Rabbit

218 3rd Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37201

Located across from Printers Alley, just two blocks from Broadway, Black Rabbit is a restaurant & bar with full service dinner, Saturday Brunch, the Best Happy Hour in Nashville 2022 (4-6 PM Mon-Sat) and Live Music every Friday and Saturday.

Broadway

Broadway, Nashville, TN

Portland is just a 45 minute drive from downtown Nashville. If you haven't visited Broadway, you should check it out! Personally, we like to arrive around noon, and head to dinner before the party crowds arrive for the evening.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

222 Rep. John Lewis Way South, Nashville, TN 37203

Zanies Comedy Night Club

2025 8th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37204

If you're in town early, we highly recommend catching a show at Zanies. This is located near Downtown Nashville and is a famous comedy club. You'll want to arrive a little early to get in line for a seat or you can pay for upgraded seats to sit upfront by the stage. They serve drinks and appetizers throughout the show.
