We met in first period Spanish class, sophomore year of high school, slowly started talking and eventually started dating. We dated for a couple years in high school then reconnected just as friends catching up eight years later. We agreed to meet and go for a walk on Kellog Beach and as soon as we started talking we instantly felt a connection. After that first date we both knew we would end up being much more than just friends.

On the day Amanda was set to take her graduation photos at Balboa Park, Quin had planned with her friends and family to surprise her with a proposal. She was taking photos and behind her Quin was waiting to propose. When Amanda finally noticed she was so excited, she ran up to Quin but he was too nervous to say any words so he simply opened the ring box. Amanda said yes! That night their friends and family joined them for a celebratory dinner. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with all of you. See you in La Jolla!
