What are public transport options from NYC to Eastern Long Island?

Answer

There are two easy public transportation options from NYC to Eastern Long Island - Hampton Jitney or the Long Island Railroad Hampton Jitney: The bus runs regularly from New York City (with stops on the Upper East Side down to 40th/41st St.) and can be taken to Southampton (if staying at Southampton Inn) or Bridgehampton (if staying at Topping Rose House). Be sure to book ahead of time on the Montauk Line. Will transportation be provided between the hotel, ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Yes - Transportation will be provided to all wedding guests (to and from the ceremony and reception) via shuttle. Buses will leave the Southampton Inn for the Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary promptly at 2:20pm. Buses will depart for Topping Rose House immediately following the ceremony. The end of the night bus schedule from Topping Rose House to The Southampton Inn is as follows: 10:00PM 11:00PM 11:45PM All buses will leave promptly at their scheduled departure time
