It all began in 6th grade science class, where we first met as classmates. By 7th grade, we had become close friends—and before we knew it, best friends. Sharing many classes throughout middle school helped our bond grow stronger, and by 8th grade, we both realized what we had was something more than friendship. On February 6, 2015, during our middle school Valentine's dance, everything changed. As A Thousand Years by Christina Perri played, he asked me to dance—and then asked me to be his girlfriend. That moment marked the beginning of our love story. Since then, we've weathered challenges and celebrated milestones together. From walking the school hallways side by side, to navigating two years of long distance, to graduating from college, and now stepping into adulthood hand in hand—we’ve grown through it all. Our journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been ours—and it’s been beautiful. We’re so excited to continue this next chapter together, surrounded by the people we love most
