Please RSVP by May 1st so that we can confirm with our food and rental vendors.
The dress code is casual and not strict at all, just however you'd like to interpret 'garden party' or 'country dance.' We welcome your creative expression on the square dance theme if you like that sort of thing 😉. We're just trying to have some fun! Whatever makes you feel pretty/handsome, relaxed, and comfortable: lightweight dresses and sport coats, etc. The venue is mostly outdoors (grass, gravel) and concrete flooring inside the barn, so we recommend leaving the stilettos at home. You can also bring an extra pair of shoes specifically for dancing.
Yes! There are many children in our community that we would love to include in our special day. Children are welcome and we will have some outdoor games and activities available for all ages. Parents, you can also schedule a baby sitter if you'd rather make it a square dance date night! Note, there will be beer and wine, but no cocktails or hard alcohol.
There is ample parking at the farm, both gravel and grass. No need for 4 wheel drive or anything like that.
The Hilton Garden Inn is the closest and we have a block reserved (use link in the travel section above.) Other suggestions are also listed in the "travel" section. Email us if you are having trouble or if you'd like to camp nearby.
There are shuttle options at the Hilton Garden Inn, but we need a headcount to organize this. Please let us know if you are interested in this option. We can also help coordinate carpools.
You can use our Zola registry linked above. We do not expect wedding gifts, but welcome any contributions to our wedding event, no matter how small.
