Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe. We both joined a dating app with cautious optimism. Then one day, our profiles crossed paths. What started as a simple match quickly turned into long conversations, easy banter, and that rare feeling of wanting to keep talking long after the messages should have ended. Our first date confirmed what we already suspected: this was different. Hours flew by, and the laughter came easily. From there, dates turned into routines, routines turned into a partnership, and in 2022 we took a big step forward by moving in together. Our little family grew not long after when we adopted another cat, Sylvie, who joined our first feline love, Meeko. Life became fuller, louder, and better in all the ways that mattered. On September 6, 2025, in the place that had already become our home, our old condo, Michael asked Amanda to marry him. There was no hesitation, no doubt. It was the easiest “yes” ever. We’re endlessly grateful for the swipe that brought us together and so excited for everything still to come!
