Walk (or Run!) the Cliff Walk
The Cliff Walk along the eastern shore of Newport is a world famous public walk that combines the natural beauty of the Newport shoreline with the architectural history of Newport's Mansions. The walk begins at the base of Easton's beach (opposite the Atlantic Beach Club), at the cross streets of memorial and Eustis, right next to the Chandler Hotel.
Hit the Beach
Easton's Beach (First Beach): Newport's most happening beach! Also in the middle find a trip-worthy concession stand with the best lobster roll deal in town. Sachuest Beach (Second Beach): Our favorite beach in the area - also where Mike proposed to Amanda!
Newport Mansion Tours
Tour Newport's historic mansions and peer into the lives of some of America's most famous families at the turn of the 20th century. If you only have time for one, head to The Breakers.
Shopping Around Newport
Walk Upper and Lower Thames Street, America's Cup Avenue, or any number of side streets for the hundreds of shops, which range from art galleries to local designers to local crafts. Make sure to hit Bowen's Warf in particular, home to a number of great local stores in addition to one of the best fresh lobster markets in Newport.

Discover Jamestown's most visited landmark with its panoramic views of Narragansett Bay. Beavertail Lighthouse in the third oldest lighthouse in North America.
Newport Creamery
Every weekend spent in Newport should end with something sweet from Newport Creamery. Try their fan-favorite "Awful Awful" milkshake or homemade clam chowder.
