Amanda and Max’s story began in their hometown of Boca Raton, Florida. Though they both grew up there, their paths never crossed until the pandemic brought them together in an unexpected way. Max was finishing medical school at Florida Atlantic University, while Amanda was finishing grad school at Florida State University. Amanda met Max while she was in Boca visiting her parents, and let's just say she spent a lot more time in Boca after their first date. Throughout the semester, the two got to know each other and quickly formed a connection. Although they both felt something special, they decided to keep things casual and remain just friends, as they were nearing graduation and unsure of where their futures would take them. However, life had other plans. After graduation, Max moved to Washington, D.C. for his residency at George Washington University, and Amanda ended up nearby for a job at Washington Hospital Center. As they reconnected in D.C., what started as a friendship quickly grew into something more. Their relationship, which began unexpectedly, became a true partnership—one they never saw coming, but one that felt right from the start. When it came time to celebrate their love and take the next step, they knew exactly where they wanted to do it: Ravello. Nestled along Italy's Amalfi Coast, it was the perfect blend of everything they loved. The dramatic cliffs where the mountains meet the sea, the breathtaking views, and, of course, the endless supply of incredible pizza made it an easy choice. For Amanda and Max, Ravello wasn’t just a beautiful destination—it was a reflection of all the things they love most and that brought them together. Now, as they look to the future, they're ready for whatever comes next—as one.
