Our love story began 15 years ago, at a Halloween party where fate brought us together. As kids, we clicked instantly and grew fond of each other's company amidst local events and chance encounters. Although life took us on separate paths, our connection endured, with occasional chats during high school. Fast forward to 2017, when Amanda returned home from Germany, igniting a spark that had never truly faded. A simple coffee invitation from Matt rekindled our bond, and it felt as though no time had passed at all. Though our initial attempt at dating didn't last, our friendship remained steadfast. In late 2018, a chance encounter at our local YMCA reignited our friendship, which flourished into the beautiful relationship we cherish today. Despite the challenges of 2020, our love blossomed. During a visit home, Matt asked Amanda to be his, which led to our reunion in Arizona. Enduring months of long-distance, we weathered the storm together, growing stronger with each passing day. In May of 2021, Matt made the courageous leap to Arizona, solidifying our commitment. With a promise ring in October and a heartfelt proposal in March of 2022, our journey reached new heights. Now, surrounded by our beloved cats (Batman, Mister, Ava and Ashlyn) and supported by our incredible families and friends, we eagerly anticipate the day we say "I do."
