We met dirt bike riding for his sister’s birthday. After spending hours riding, we then all went back to his sister’s house for a BBQ to celebrate a little more. A couple hours in and all of the guys started a ball fight with the kids and it quickly became a war between all of the adults. He aimed all of his at me trying to hit me over and over again and in that moment a spark was ignited. Shortly afterwards, he came and sat next to me and told me all about his new truck. Later that night as I was in my truck getting ready to leave, I see him in my review mirror running out of his sister’s door towards me. He came up to my window and asked “Hey Amanda, do you think it would be okay if I got your number?” After responding “Ummm sure.” I gave him my number and about 30 minutes later..I get a text from him asking me if I made it home safely. From that moment on, “that was all she wrote.”

Fast forward to seven months later. We were celebrating MY birthday with some family and friends (he must have a thing with birthday’s haha). We had all gone inside to sing happy birthday and as I turned around, I see him down on one knee. I was completely taken back and an emotional wreck. While saying yes so faintly, he had asked me “So is that a yes!?” I shook my head yes while sobbing uncontrollably. And bam!! We were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you all at the wedding!
