We met through a mutual friend, Jerod, who very sneakily invited us both to come watch a Badgers game at the 5th Quarter in Verona. He had talked about setting us up before but neither of us knew we were going to meet that day. We had a great time hanging out and I asked Jerod to give Mark my number. Mark called me a few weeks later to ask me out and the rest is history!

Mark proposed to me on my birthday last year! We were getting ready to meet friends for dinner. After asking if I was ready, he told me, "I can't let you go out like that." He then proceeded to tell me something was missing and proposed! Needless to say, it was the best birthday gift I've ever gotten.
