When Amanda flew to Israel to visit her sister at Bar Ilan University, she never imagined she’d meet the love of her life. Yet, as Maor recalls, "I'll never forget the moment I saw her for the first time... It was love at first sight." Amanda laughs at his dramatic recollection, but there’s no denying the magnetic connection they felt the moment their eyes met. Despite their undeniable chemistry, like every good love story there had to be a problem: he lived in New York, and she was based in Miami. Their burgeoning romance meant navigating flights as frequently as their feelings. “How did they make it work?” you might ask. Well, love has a way of shrinking distances and making time seem irrelevant.. Maor would often reassure Amanda with a hopeful smile, saying, "One day, the ticket will be one way." And so, their story unfolded—full of frequent flyer miles, late night phone calls, and tearful airport drop-offs, all leading them right here to this moment. The moment when the plane ticket will once and for all, be one way.
