The two biggest cities of Santorini Island are Fira and Oia. Fira is the capital of Santorini; a city with the most restaurants bars and nightlife. Oia is the second largest city and the one that most people imagine when they think of the greek islands; blue dome roofs and white stone buildings. It is the most picturesque out of all of the cities in Santorini, most visited, and of course the most expensive.
Our wedding is in Akrotiriou towards the south of the island. We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding to your perspective locations, so please choose a location based on where you would like to spend the rest of your time in Santorini and what your budget will allow.
As of right now, we are looking into hotels and stays near the city of Fira because of the nightlife around that part of the island. We will update you when we have chosen a specific hotel. We are in contact with hotels for group rates as well, and will inform you of these rates ASAP.
