One of Leslie's favorite dives. My Brother’s Bar, the oldest bar in Denver, continuously serving fine beers and spirits since 1873. While the names have changed over these 145 years, “Brother’s” has been in operation since 1970.
Check out Poka Lola Social Club or Run for the Roses for great cocktails. Located in the heart of downtown Denver’s LoDo neighborhood, the vibrant Dairy Block micro-district is home to dozens of restaurants, bars and retailers, along with a modern co-working space and the independent Maven Hotel.

Boutiques, wine shops and bookstores, as well as popular restaurants and bars radiate out from Highland Square on West 32nd Avenue and Lowell Boulevard. And, in the Tennyson Street Cultural District, you can spend an afternoon browsing antique prints, photographs and paintings from Colorado artists, plus find live music venues and great international foods.
One of our faves (for the vibes, the drinks are... okay?)
