Denver owned and operated since 1976, Campus Lounge has been the staple of the Wash Park and Bonnie Brea Neighborhoods. Campus Lounge is an upscale dive bar that serves traditional American favorites and is known for their indoor and outdoor sports watching.

My Brother's Bar

One of Leslie's favorite dives. My Brother’s Bar, the oldest bar in Denver, continuously serving fine beers and spirits since 1873. While the names have changed over these 145 years, “Brother’s” has been in operation since 1970.

The Rockies are arguably the worst team in baseball, but it's super fun to see a game at Coors Field. You can get tickets on the cheap and they'll be playing the Padres on 6/9 and 6/11.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

Red Rock is a concert venue and a geological formation that has stunning hikes and views. Yoga is often offered in the mornings during the summer.

River North Art District

RiNo is where it's at, especially on the weekend. River North Art District features contemporary art galleries and hip concert venues in revamped industrial buildings. Food halls include Denver Central Market and The Source, a buzzy indoor venue with eclectic products and a bar for small plates and craft beer. Known for its colorful murals, Upper Larimer Street also has cocktail lounges, brewpubs with patios and late-night food trucks.

We're recommending the Colfax location because honestly? It's grittier. There's a location on Broadway as well, if that's more your bag. We recommend Sprinkle Cake, Maple Blazer Blunt, Buttermilk Bar, and Portland Cream.

The 1UP Arcade Bar - Colfax

Again, we choose the Colfax location because it's just better. Go and play Addams Family Pinball and grab an alcoholic slushie while you're at it.

Beet beer? Carrot beer? Yes please. Cool patio, good jams.

Forest Room 5

It's weird! It's like if Meow Wolf was a bar. In fact, go to Meow Wolf and then go here.

LoHi

Boutiques, wine shops and bookstores, as well as popular restaurants and bars radiate out from Highland Square on West 32nd Avenue and Lowell Boulevard. And, in the Tennyson Street Cultural District, you can spend an afternoon browsing antique prints, photographs and paintings from Colorado artists, plus find live music venues and great international foods.
