September is historically part of our warmer months so plan for dry, hot weather. That said, we also have a marine layer that occasionally makes for cool mornings and evenings so bringing layers is always recommended!
We are awaiting guidance from local health authorities with regard to Covid-19. Currently, we and our venue are requiring that all our guests be fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus two weeks ahead of the wedding. We will update with more info as we gather it.
People are generally taking precautions. Currently (June) many people are still wearing masks and restaurants are not at full capacity. June 15th the state of California is set to open fully and with that a new set of health guidelines will be available. Please stay tuned for this!
In our Travel section, we have outlined many of the local hotels that are close to the venue and other attractions. In addition, Airbnb has many great options especially for those traveling in larger groups.
It is recommended to have a mode of transportation to get to our events. While most of our events will be in Mill Valley, Marin does not have great centralized transportation options. Rental cars are the cheapest and easiest to come by at the airports that you can use for the duration of your stay. (This is also great for sight seeing as we are so close to so many beautiful landmarks!)
The Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club does not provide parking but there is ample street parking in the neighborhoods and on Sundays, it is free. You may want to allow up to 30 minutes to find parking and walk to the venue as sometimes you can be a few blocks away.
Currently we have Lyft, Uber and local taxis. We recommend using Lyft & Uber as the taxis here are less reliable.
