Our Story

We first met at a Friendsgiving where we shared stories about our travels and life goals. In that moment, we noticed how many similarities we had, but didn’t think much of it at the time. Fast forward three months later, we reconnected and quickly realized just how much we had in common. What started as a simple friendship soon became our everyday routine. Our early days together revolved around movie nights, ice cream runs, at-home dinners, and even the occasional family dinner - yes, he was so subtle. Looking back, it’s funny how blind we were to the fact that we were clearly falling in love. Our lives slowly began to intertwine. We worked around each other’s schedules, made plans together without thinking twice, and spent so much time side by side that it simply became normal. In the beginning, we joked about not crossing the “relationship line,” but it quickly became obvious that neither of us was very good at sticking to that rule. We convinced ourselves we would remain the best of friends, even though we enjoyed each other’s company so much that we kept pretending to ignore the fact that we were crossing that line time and time again. Somehow, we can’t even recall our official first date. Over time, we started joking that it must have been Publix, because between grocery runs and spending time together, that’s where so many of our early memories were made. As time continued, it became clear that neither of us actually wanted to be with anyone else and it didn’t take long for us to realize that what we had found in each other went far beyond friendship; it was love. And now here we are, writing our story on a wedding website, so excited to celebrate our love surrounded by the people we love most.
