Amanda & Kevin

Our love story started in Japan. Kevin's ship pulled in for a weekend in May. Having 24 hour duty the next day, he planned to take it easy but a close friend coerced him to meet at the bar for one drink. When he walked into the bar, Amanda immediately caught his eye. At that moment Kevin knew two things: he made the right decision by going out and there was no way he was staying for just one drink. After multiple attempts of trying to get her attention, he finally gained her trust by offering her chocolate covered snacks. As luck would have it, the shortcut to Amanda's heart is food. Although Kevin went on deployment shortly after, they stayed in touch, and as the saying goes, the rest is history. On November 13, 2020, Kevin "finally" asked Amanda to spend the rest of her life with him, to which she replied with a resounding "YES!” Call it fate or luck that brought us together, but our relationship has always been an adventure and hopefully, will always continue to be one!
