Amanda and Keegan grew up less than a mile apart and attended the same high school but they didn't meet until 2015 when they both ended up working at the same Starbucks. Six months and a couple of work hangouts later, Keegan asked Amanda to go see a spooooky movie and rest is history.

On September 18th 2021, Keegan and Amanda had plans to watch Hamilton at The Hollywood Pantages - a long awaited day since their original planned showing had been cancelled in 2020. Keegan suggested that to celebrate FINALLY making it to the day of the show, they have a nice dinner beforehand at Katana. Half way through the meal and in the midst of a lovely conversation, Keegan proposed.
