We met while working at Dairy Queen in high school! It was our first job, and we spent all summer working the same shifts. I never thought anything of Justin other than he was some guy that worked in the kitchen. One of our coworkers, Michael, asked me what I thought about Justin and my first response was "he needs a haircut". Needless to say, the next time I saw Justin, his hair was cut, haha. My friend Lexi and I were out hiking one day when I received a text from an unknown number that said "hey its Justin". It was so weird because we were hiking at a spot that has absolutely NO service, but I somehow got his text- must have been an early sign that it was meant to be! We met up at the high school football game that Friday night and we have hung out most every weekend from there. I am so excited we will get to hang out every night for the rest of our forever!
We get a lot of funky looks when people realize our wedding is on a Tuesday; everyone wants to know why. If you know Justin, you know he is a workaholic. He loves to work, and he loves his work. Since we started dating, Tuesdays have been Justin's only consistent day off work (meaning he still works but gets off by 6am), so it has been the only day that we know we will get to spend time together! We, and all of our family and friends, consider Tuesdays to be "Justin-and-Amanda's" day. Therefore, it only made since to get married on our day, close to our favorite time of year, Christmas! We know that it may not be feasible for everyone to take time off work to celebrate with us, but we hope you will celebrate from the office, and drink a cup of coffee in honor of our best day ever!
