You can fly directly into Victoria International Airport (YYJ), or take a ferry from Vancouver or Seattle. Floatplanes from Seattle or downtown Vancouver are also a scenic and fun option!
Yes and No. If flying into Canada you will need a valid passport. If coming in on ferry, you can use an enhanced drivers license.
It’s not necessary if you plan to stay downtown—Victoria is very walkable. However, a rental car is helpful if you’re staying outside the city or want to explore Vancouver Island.
We didn’t reserve a block. Victoria is easily walkable and has lots of options to stay. We recommend hotels in downtown Victoria for easy access to wedding events and sightseeing.
Cocktail attire for wedding. Casual for the other activities arranged. The weather in August is warm and sunny, but evenings can be cool—bring a light layer!
Yes. Although for dinner it will be adults only and we have arranged fun activities and babysitters for the small children.
