My first job was at Chick-fil-A as a cashier. Josh worked at a job site across the street from me and would come in to eat basically every single day. Depending where he was in line, I would either try to speed through the customers I had or I would go slow to try to get him as my next customer. He would always flirt and be really sweet and funny but would never make a move past that. One day I brought his food out to him at lunch and built up the courage to write my phone number on his receipt. Ever since then we haven't spent a day apart. Seven years later, here we are getting married and are so happy to have our families to share our special day with.
One Saturday Josh came up with the idea to ride our motorcycles to the top of Mount Umunhum. It is not too far from our house, and the road leading up to it has some twisties so of course I wanted to go since I've never been. When we got to the top, there's a few different trails you can walk around and explore. We parked our bikes and took one of the trails that wrapped all the way back where we started. When we got to this point, a previously crowded area the was shady with trees and has some rocks to sit on to view all of San Jose was finally open so we went to check it out. We were being goofy and Josh started a game of "I spy". When it was his turn again, he said "I spy something shiny" while behind me on one knee. I didn't say yes, but replied with a more realistic feeling of "duhh!".
