In March 2020, when the worst pandemic of the world hit, Jordan messaged Amanda one night on Tinder. The next morning, Amanda saw a message from Jordan and they started messaging back and fourth. The day after they started talking the state was shut down and we had to social distance each other. For the next month and a half, they talked on the phone, messaged back and fourth and videoed. During that shut down, they met each other in person by going to the Sterling Reservoir and walked around getting to know each other. Amanda got to meet Jordan's dog, Hamlet, on that walk too. When the shut down was lifted, Amanda, drove to Fort Morgan to see Jordan and Hamlet. At that moment, Jordan and Amanda felt like they knew each other for years. When that day came, they knew they have found their match.

Christmas of 2022, Jordan gave Amanda a gift, to go on a cruise to the Bahamas. July 2023, they chose to take a week before the cruise to go to Disney World. On Amanda's birthday, they chose to go to Magic Kingdom. While at Magic Kingdom, they saw a photographer at the front of the park facing Cinderella's Castle. During those photos, Jordan got down on one knee and surprised Amanda with a ring. Of course Amanda said yes and here they are now, 4 years from when Jordan messaged Amanda.
