Amanda and Jordan met each other the summer before sophomore year in high school. They had many firsts together including homecoming, driving, prom, and eventually graduation. After high school, Jordan and Amanda both went to Heartland Community College to complete their prerequisites, then transferred to Illinois State University to finish out their degrees. Jordan received his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Data Analytics, and started his career at Country Financial. He is a total loss adjuster in auto insurance, and is lucky to get to work fully remote! Amanda received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and passed the NCLEX to get her Registered Nursing license. She works at a local hospital on a Women and Children’s floor. As many of y’all know, they now currently live in Gulf Shores, Alabama. They live 15 minutes from the beach in their cute beach home, and they couldn’t be happier! They love their lives they are building together, and have been together now for over 9 years. They couldn't have done it without each other. Now let's get them married!

It was a normal beach day for them. Jordan said he had to go back to the car to get his sunglasses after they had already settled in. He was gone for awhile, and eventually he came back to their spot. He asked if Amanda wanted to go on a walk and she said yes without hesitation because they always do this. He suddenly got down on one knee and asked the big question. Amanda was immediately shocked and surprised. She of course said "YES!"
