I met Jordan during a church event over a decade ago. He was super young, zealous, with the heart of a giant. I was performing music with our ministry and afterwards he came up saying he wanted to do music like us. Our love for music instantly created a kindred bond. We hit the studio and started doing music as if we had been family all along. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing a seed blossom into magnificence witnessing his growth as a student, minister, actor, community advocate, husband, and father. I met Amanda at the gym. It’s crazy but I use to refer to her as a superhero because she was Beastmode in the gym. We would challenge each other and when I found out she was a Leo we would clown and laugh about it how competitive she was. One day Jordan tells me that he is dating someone that he wants me to meet because he felt it could be something serious and he needed my advice. I had no idea he was talking about a real life avenger. When he said her name and mentioned who it was I laughed thinking wow, how did Jordan meet someone that likes fighting crime as much as him. Only God could cultivate this pair. These two people have great hearts that impact lives effortlessly with their love and presence. The love between these two is a generous exchange. They help each other glow and fan each other’s flames. They are able to share raw, intimate, and vulnerable spaces between each other that creates divine friendships and I’m proud to be apart of it.

Oh my Mander’s!! Who would have thought I would move to OKC and find such a gem! We met at an event, that of course, Jordan was DJing for! I remember Amanda and I went down the soul train together, and the rest was history!! I love to cook and She loves to eat my food, so it just kinda works perfectly!! Briana or "Bri," as we call her, first met Amanda at church and they have been friends ever since! So much so that they became roommates. Although their personalities are starkly different(Amanda more of a firecracker, Bri more of a librarian lol), they were a perfect pair and connected on many important factors of life, such as their love for Christ, love for people, and love for random dance parties. Since Amanda, had me write this excerpt, I am now going to switch to first person and say I am elated for the union of my dear beautiful friend Amanda Beth and the oh so swaggy Jordan Lee Miller.
