It all started with a friend request on Instagram... HE sent the request first of course! I played hard to get at first, accepted the request due to us having so many mutual friends. He would react to a lot of stuff I posted and then one day around Thanksgiving time of 2021 I finally said something back to him. Ended up being small talk here and there and then around Christmas time we really started talking more, getting to know each other. Our first date - he came to my job and we went and sat by the animals that was just down the way on my lunch hour. I think we both knew right then, that this was it. We set up an official date for that weekend so we weren't rushed and then I ended up testing positive for COVID so that got delayed. After recovering from that, we had our official date at the Benicia waterfront. The rest was history! Now we've had our fair share of ups and down BUT none of that could stop us from forever. For those that don't know, where he proposed is where our first date was and the exact bench that we shared our second kiss. Now here we are, going to get married and continue building the life we both have dreamed of for so long! We are so excited for you all to be apart of our love story.

8.15.23 .... A day I will never forget. A day that Jimmi turned a horrible meaning of a day into such a special and memorable one. Those that don't know August 15th was the day we lost my papa, 3 years ago. Jimmi knew that day had significant meaning and a not-so great memory. So, he ensured to create a happier memory of that date for me. THIS IS WHY IT WAS AN EASY YES! On proposal day, Jimmi and I had the day off together. We had some things we had to get done the majority of the day and he had been saying for a while that he wanted to go on family date to where we had our first date that evening. So, we went about our day & went through with our "family date" to the Benicia waterfront where we had our first date. It was just me, the love of my life, and our son.... so I thought! We get there and let our son play in the park and then go and sit on a bench to enjoy each others company. Playing music, vibing off each other and just loving our life. All of a sudden Jimmi has me stand up with him and pulls out a jewelry box, I look at him in shock he steps away a little and I turn around and our family is there. I HAD NO CLUE!! Then he continues to get on one knee, asks me if I'm ready and asks me to marry him. I SAID YES OF COURSE!!!! & now we are here planning our wedding and making our dreams come true.
