Two job opportunities presented themselves to me and I had to choose, I had the easier path, more my area of expertise and probably more fun, probably more money too. Then on the other hand I had the more challenging path, the area that I had NO idea what I was doing but was going to be a great learning experience for me and could open other doors. So of course I'm difficult and chose option B. Jeff and I had so much in common and we were friends from the first time we said "hello". We both shared the same taste in music, we both loved art (even though he was MUCH more artistic than me), we had a similar pasts and our present was in the same state as each others as well. We connected through that and our ability to open up to each other. The two of us could talk to each other as if we had been raised together our whole lives.
So, the original gameplan was to run off to Las Vegas and get married, just the two of us. Jeff and I have both been down this road before and already walked down that isle before so neither of us cared to do it again, but we still wanted to do something fun to commemorate the occasion. So it was set. Then one night after dinner were cuddled up on the couch watching a movie before bed and Jeff asks me if the Vegas idea was what I really wanted to do. I told him I didn’t care either way as long as we were together, we could get married in a ditch! Then he told me that he was thinking about a conversation we had 2 years prior when we first had started dating when I told him I really hadn’t ever had the “wedding of my dreams”. I jokingly told him it was because he wasn’t there but then he told me that he wanted to be able to give me that and wanted me to plan my perfect wedding and he would do everything in his power to give it to me! And here we are... Edit: April 18, 2020, our dreams would have come true if the stupid covid would have stayed in China! Now July 25th we’ll try it again! 😂
