Jeff and Amanda went to elementary school, part of middle school, and part of high school together in Cheney, WA . Neither of them paid much attention to each other until high school when they were both involved in the drama and choir programs. It was love at first sight... for Jeff. Amanda was in a relationship already but noticed Jeff. Skip to 23 years later when Amanda and Jeff reconnected and they were both single. After talking nearly every day for several months, they went on their first date. Since then they have spent every moment that they could together. After 41 years of not really ever wanting to get married, Amanda suddenly understood why people want to do that. Jeff proposed (sort of) on December 19, 2023, and then again more officially on December 20, 2023.
