The Story of Us

We were both despairing, mired in the depths of the world of internet dating. Website after website, disappointment after disappointment, until we were both to our "one last time." We signed up to Coffee Meets Bagel and tried again. There we found each other. Amanda will say that she liked his smile, that he posed with a unicorn cake, and that he had a good guy-to-cat ratio in his pictures (1.5 to 1.5). Jay will tell you that she also has a great smile and was radiant and she had great sense of humor in her bio and picture captions. The line that got him intrigued was she was going for a creepy cozy esthetic. They chatted for a few weeks before their first date, as Amanda was out of town at her sisters for a while. Their first date was at the Fort Worth Art Festival. They spent six hours together that first day, and it still didn't seem like enough. So, after a few months, they made it permanent. She'll tell you she appreciates how they laugh together, how considerate he is, and how he's never made her feel bad about who she is and what she likes. He'll tell you that it was amazing to find someone who loves him for who he is and does not make him feel bad for playing video games or any of his nerdy hobbies. Also finding someone that is so genuine kind that he can open up to was like a dream. And now they are moving to their next adventure - the greatest adventure two people can share. No refunds, no exchanges. Thank you for being a part of their story.
