FAQs

If you have any other questions other than those that are listed here, please reach out to the wedding planner. Oh, wait, we don't have a wedding planner. Just text Javi.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

October 26th. If we don't hear from you by October 26th, please bring a chair and a sandwich. Kidding! Just let us know if you have any special requests or extraordinary situations you'd like us to know about.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered with Target and Amazon. We are also registered with IKEA, which is our favorite store. (I do recognize the irony of having a store notorious for causing marital strife on our wedding registry, but their shoe organizers are so amazing that it's worth the risk.)

Question

Do you know... the muffin man?

Answer

The muffin man??

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you're in the procession or wedding party, you should plan to get there at about 1pm. If you're not in the procession or the wedding party, you don't technically need to be there till it starts at 2pm. But you should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony - that way if anything goes wrong, you have a cushion.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear whatever you feel is suitable for Mass and is comfortable for you! I suggest business casual, or cocktail attire.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are definitely welcome! Just let us know if they require any additional accommodation on our part! We want to make sure you enjoy the wedding, too!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

You came to the right wedding! (The bride is gluten intolerant, and the groom is lactose intolerant). Between the two of us, we're very used to accommodating food allergies, so let us know what you need!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, but there can be if you need it! Let us know if you're having trouble finding your own ride to and from the hotel and we will see if we can help by starting a carpool with another guest already going that way.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

If you can stick around town after the wedding, we plan to go to Mass together on Sunday the 17th in the morning as one big (newly joined!) family. Please come!

Question

Why is Gamora?

Answer

Now you're getting it.

Question

I want to dress to match your color scheme. What are your wedding colors?

Answer

I love this! Our colors are navy/ blue (in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary), natural greens, and pink / dusty rose.

Question

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

It sort of does. We are dedicating our marriage to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, so she is our main patroness. We also both love stars (he proposed under the stars!) so there will be some subtle starry motifs sprinkled throughout the wedding. Lastly, succulents are a huge decorative theme because to us they represent Southern California perfectly! So plan on seeing a few succulents decorating the area. :)

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you would like to bring a plus one but your invitation was only addressed to you, just ask us and we will see what we can do!

Question

What does the fox say?

Answer

That's a really old pop culture reference. Find a new one.
