Paula and Amanda have been best friends since the age of 7. Growing up in their hometown of Mooresville NC, their families became close family friends. Paula and Amanda never lost touch through the years, not even when Paula moved to start her life in New York City. They enjoy traveling to visit each other and always have a lot to catch up on. From playing with dolls and riding bikes to traveling the world to places like Costa Rica, Barcelona Spain, and Paris France; Paula and Amanda have been on a lot of adventures together. Jess is Amanda's future sister-in-law. They are both very excited about changing their name to Medlin, which Jess now has as of Oct. Amanda and Jess grew close over the last 3 years. Jacob and Amanda often had double dates with Cody and Jess as they began dating around the same time and have similar interests. Amanda always looks forward to rodeos, strawberry picking, hanging out at mawmaws and late-night movie watching. "I always wanted a sister" -Amanda

Amanda and Kaitlyn both attended Lenoir-Rhyne University and grew close on a study abroad trip to London, England. They then became roommates and relied on each other heavily through the last few years of their undergrad. Maddie and Amanda met in high school and have been inseparable ever since. They survived high school and attended classes, school dances, and clubs together. They both worked their first job at Mooresville Ice Cream together. "Anytime I walked into the school I would automatically look for Maddie. When I saw her It felt like everything was going to be okay." -Amanda
John Sims

John and Amanda met in middle school and have been friends ever since. They altar served at church together, played in a band at school together, and often got into a bit of trouble together in class. They were detention buddies. Jacob and Amanda enjoy having John over for a bonfire or to watch a football game. "Jacob insisted John go with us ladies to the bachelorette party for protection, so I thought I might as well make him an official bridesman!" -Amanda
Duke Man
Best Man
Duke is Jacob and Amanda's Precious fur baby. Jacob adopted Duke from a local shelter seven years ago, and Duke was his first dog training student. Duke is now the face of their dog training Bussiness: Sounds of Obedience and is always employee of the month.
Alex Huff
Best Man
Alex and Jacob are cousins, and rumor has is that Jacob was such a good baby that Alex's mom decided she wanted one of her own, thus Alex came into the world. They have been good friends ever since.
Cody Medlin
Groomsman
Cody is Jacobs's older brother, They have done a great job getting each other in and out of trouble over the years. They recently found an old "slap bet book"; a notebook where they recorded bets and whoever loses the bet, gets a slap. Well, one of the bets was on who was going to get married first. Cody lost, as he bet Jacob would get married first. So after his big day is over and official, Jacob owes Cody a slap.
Liam Mikeal

Liam is Amanda's younger brother. He will be Walking Amanda down the aisle in their father's place. Liam approved of Jacob from the first time they met. Now Liam is just happy he has someone else to harass that will actually fight back.
