Amanda and Jack were both born and raised in San Ramon, California, a suburban town in the San Francisco Bay Area, and grew up just two miles from one another. They both played for San Ramon Soccer Club, attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, and went to cross-town rival high schools. Yet somehow, their paths never crossed until 22 years later and 467 miles away, when they met at a bar in Pacific Beach. Amanda had graduated from UC Santa Barbara and moved home for the summer to her parents’ new place in San Diego. Jack had graduated from San Diego State and was living oceanfront in Pacific Beach. Their mutual friend invited Amanda out with friends, where she finally met Jack. The rest is history. With meaningful chapters written across California, Amanda and Jack knew there was no better place to celebrate than along its coast. From their shared upbringing in San Ramon, where their values were shaped, to San Diego, where they met and got engaged, to Los Angeles, where they now call home; each place has played a part in their story. Now, in Dana Point, they are so excited to celebrate their love with all of you.
