We kindly ask our guests to wear cocktail attire—think dresses, suits, and outfits that feel polished and celebratory. Since our reception will be in an open-air pavilion in late August, we recommend dressing comfortably for the warm weather. Whatever your choice of shoe is, make sure you are ready to DANCE!
For the ceremony, guests may park for free in the lot at 24 E Benton Avenue. If this fills up, there is also free street parking along Ellsworth Street and Benton Avenue, just be sure to check the signs for any time restrictions. For the reception, use the main entrance to the Morton Arboretum. At the gate, mention that you are there for the Blank/Majcher wedding and they will direct you where to park and how to get to the Firefly Pavillion. For guests staying at the hotel, we will be coordinating a shuttle to get to/from the reception. There will be 3 shuttles, at 4:30, 4:45, and 5:00.
While we love your little ones, please note that this is an adults only celebration.
Upon receiving the formal invitation, we ask that you fill out the RSVP on this website by July 25th.
Please indicate all dietary restrictions to us when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly with the caterers.
No! While you are welcome to stay in the city, the wedding is in Naperville/Lisle, which is about an hour west of the city. If you are planning to stay in the city and are not renting a car, you can take the Metra BNSF line from Union Station to the Naperville stop, but be mindful that on the weekends the trains run less frequently and they make more stops, so plan accordingly!
