It all started with an instagram message. Amanda was playing hard to get and told Islam that she was not looking for a relationship but when they spoke over the phone later that evening there was an instant connection and a feeling of knowing that this was the one. They have been inseparable ever since that moment and enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends and most importantly raising their two year old mini-doodle Milo.

Islam told Amanda that he had planned a surprise scavenger hunt for that afternoon and dinner in the evening. He blindfolded her when she got into the car and after some time he came to a stop. She then heard someone whisper "good luck" and it was at that point that her nerves began to settle in. Islam helped her out of the car and when the blindfold was finally taken off, she opened her eyes to a beautiful picnic in the park with the words marry me and Islam down on one knee. Amanda was so shocked and the two were so nervous that they blacked out and to this day cannot remember what either one said. Once she realized what has happening, Amanda did say yes and even though there was no scavenger hunt it was an unforgettable surprise!
