A must-visit for anyone in Boulder, Pearl Street Mall is a pedestrian-friendly area filled with unique shops, restaurants, and local art galleries. It is the heart of downtown Boulder. Some of our personal favorite stores include: Art Source International, which offers a wide variety of Colorado-themed art and vintage maps from across the country Fair Trade Winds, a fair trade shop featuring a beautifully curated collection of global décor, jewelry, and accessories.
About an hour’s drive from Boulder, Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) offers beautiful alpine landscapes and hiking trails suitable for all levels of experience. Please note that during the summer months, RMNP requires a timed entry permit to manage high visitation and ensure an enjoyable experience for all visitors. Timed entry reservations can be made at www.recreation.gov. For July visits, reservations become available starting June 1. We recommend selecting the "Timed Entry + Bear Lake Road" option, if available.
Chautauqua Park is a historic landmark that offers access to some of the most scenic trails in the area, including the iconic Flatirons. The on-site rangers in the Ranger Cottage can recommend a hike at your level, plus provide brochures on wildflowers, wildlife and more. There's also a bathroom and water fountain at the cottage. They also give you a free Boulder sticker.
The Dushanbe Tea House is a stunning architectural gem. The tea house was a gift from Boulder’s sister city, Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and features intricate hand-painted tiles and vibrant colors. Enjoy a wide selection of teas from around the world, along with delicious menu options.
