Amanda and Gunnar were just kids when they fell in love. They met nearly 7 years ago now, in high school. Amanda dropped a class, and had to pick up another in it's place. As fate would have it, she signed up for a new computer course, where she met Gunnar. After a while, they couldn't stand to be away from one another, they've been best friends ever since.

It's no secret that Amanda loves the Biltmore estate in Asheville, NC. On July 17, 2015, Gunnar made it so that he and Amanda were to visit the Biltmore together. After a very long, very hot day enjoying the estate, Gunnar swept Amanda away to the famous Biltmore Estate Garden, where he waited for the perfect moment. There, under the most beautiful archway, he got down on one knee. He told Amanda he loved her, and asked for her hand in marriage. She responded, "it's about time!"
