FAQs

Question

Where is the celebration being held?

Answer

Please join us at the beautiful and rustic Holly Hedge Estate, located at 6987 Upper York Road in New Hope, PA.

Question

What time should we arrive? When does it end?

Answer

The celebration will begin at 5pm so please arrive around 4:30. The main receptions ends at 9 o’clock in the evening, but please plan to stay for the after party which will be held from 9pm to 11pm.

Question

Is there parking available at the estate?

Answer

Yes, complimentary valet will be provided to all guests.

Question

Are Ubers or Lyfts available in the area?

Answer

Yes. Anyone wishing to use Uber or Lyft can absolutely plan on doing so.

Question

What is an “Endless Cocktail Hour” wedding reception?

Answer

Please note that our wedding will have open bar and tons of food offered throughout the entirety of the celebration in an “Endless Cocktail Hour” style reception. This simply means that all hors d'oeuvres and entrees will be butlered and served at stations, and there will not be a designated or forced time for a “seated dinner.” Please feel encouraged to eat, drink, and be merry the entire evening at your leisure.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The Holly Hedge Estate property is naturally elegant and rustic. The first hour (as well as the after-party) will take place in a beautiful outdoor garden and the rest of the evening will be held in the newly restored barn. Please be comfortable! Sun dresses, cocktail dresses, khaki pants, and light colors might be best in the July heat. Suits, jackets, and formal dresses are definitely not required! You know us… we just want everyone to feel relaxed and focus on having a great time celebrating!

Question

What is there to do in New Hope?

Answer

Travel + Leisure magazine just named New Hope, PA the country’s best small town for arts and culture of 2024. Located on the Delaware River, visitors can enjoy walking and biking along the water, or crossing the pedestrian bridge right into charming Lambertville, NJ. Both towns offer a progressive arts community, eclectic shops, endless restaurants and bars, natural beauty to explore, and an ultra-friendly LGBTQ+ environment. Full of both historic intrigue and quirky, contemporary influences, New Hope and Lambertville are perfect for a romantic getaway or a weekend of family fun. Eat and drink at the local breweries, wineries and distilleries, see a show, or relax at one of the many charming Bed & Breakfasts in town. We hope you enjoy this little wedding weekend getaway!
