On June 28, 2024, Amanda and Gerrett’s love story entered a new chapter, “The Engagement.” Our Current Chapter, 2024: The Engagement What seemed an ordinary visit home to Daytona Beach, Amanda’s hometown, turned into a day she least expected but cherishes and will never forget. They arrived at Amanda’s parents' home, greeted the family, sat, laughed, and enjoyed family time as they would with any other visit. As they were about to depart from the family for the day, Amanda's dad asked everyone to come into the family room quickly. To Amanda’s surprise, Gerrett came in, got on one knee, and asked her to marry him. In shock and, for once, lost for words, Amanda turned, smiled, and said, "YES!"
