Like so many modern love stories, theirs began with a swipe on Bumble in 2019. Little did they know that a dating app match would lead to countless adventures (and eventually, a wedding!). That semester was full of fun—they went to each other’s formals, met all the friends, and basically became each other’s built-in plus-one. He officially asked her to be his girlfriend at Harbor Park in Philly, right on the water under the bridge lights—very romantic, and yes, she said yes. Since then, they’ve been through it all together: a global pandemic, celebrating their friends’ big moments, surviving career changes and school, and supporting each other through the good times and the tough ones. In 2022, they leveled up to their first apartment together, where they learned that cooking together can be almost as romantic as arguing over who does the dishes. Fast forward to March 2025—he convinced her they were going to a nice dinner (so she’d dress up, of course). Instead, he surprised her at FDR Park with giant glowing “MARRY ME” letters. The only problem? The wind was so strong that day, their families had to hold the letters up themselves until the very last second. They dashed out of the way just in time for the big moment, and it turned out perfect. The night ended with dinner surrounded by loved ones, good food, and espresso martinis (of course). Now, here they are—ready for the next big adventure: marriage! And they can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
