Climate and clothing
If planning to do some tours,despite being a country with an average annual temperature ranging from 21 to 27 °C, there are areas that are somewhat colder. In addition to summer clothing, you should also pack a light jacket or sweater for mountain areas such as: the Poás Volcano, the Irazú and the Vara Blanca area. Don't forget to bring hiking shoes or comfortable tennis shoes to walk comfortably through the national parks and a raincoat for when it rains.
Transportation and routes
-If you are going to rent a car, we recommend that you take out insurance and that you rent it directly with a rental car company. -Remember that to rent a car you need a credit card and not a debit card. -When choosing a car to drive around Costa Rica, our advice is to opt for a small 4×4. The state of the roads is not very good in some areas.
