We first met in January 2021 during the height of COVID, after finding each other online. After realizing we both shared a love for travel, specifically our trips to Italy, we both decided to meet in person at Press 195 on a rainy day in Rockville Centre-masks and all! At the time, Amanda was teaching remotely and was showing her kindergarteners how to draw a polar bear. Gabe showed up to their first date with a notepad in hand and asked her to teach him too-and at that moment, she knew that he was someone special. From there, the conversation flowed effortlessly and was filled with laughter. Since that day, we have shared memorable moments, delicious food, and countless adventures. We truly bring out the best in each other and have built a relationship rooted in love, laughter, and joy. Fast forward to June 21st, 2025-on a beautiful summer day in Glen Cove, Gabe asked Amanda to marry her. Now, we're so excited to take the next step in our journey together and begin this new chapter surrounded by the people we love the most.
