What do we wear?

See the photo up above for inspiration! For the Rehearsal dinner / Dessert & Drinks we are going with a dressy western theme. For the ladies think cowgirl boots (if desired) and sundresses. For the guys, slacks or jeans and boots and hats are the vibe with sport coat optional. We recommend a sport coat especially if you're going with jeans. However, don't feel like you have to adhere to theme, feel free to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and excited! For the wedding, cocktail party is the name of the game. Short or long dresses for the ladies and sportcoat or suits for the men. The ceremony and cocktail hour are on grass, so we would recommend flats or shorter/thicker heels. Make sure to bring a warmer layer as it can get cold at night. (Of course don't wear white!)

Which events am I invited to?

Answer

The events you are included in should have been specified on your RSVP page. Everyone who received an invitation is included in the hike, Welcome Party and Dessert & Drinks on Saturday as well as the Ceremony & Reception, and brunch on Monday. The rehearsal dinner is for family of the bride and groom, the bridesmaids, ushers, groomsmen and their plus ones, and close friends invited directly by Sarah and Cameron Powell.

How to get to the rehearsal?

Answer

There is no transportation for the rehearsal but there is ample parking, and it is at the base of the mountain, so if you are staying nearby walking is an option. There is also a free town bus that goes to and from the mountian at a regular cadence. Parking code for parking garage - 2439

How do we get to the wedding?

Answer

Getting around Steamboat can be somewhat challanging so we are having a shuttle system for pick up and drop off. There will be two central pickup locations with shuttles. You will need to walk, drive, or otherwise make your way to one of these locations (unless otherwise specified to you directly). Shuttles leave promptly at 3:45 PLEASE be timely so you don't get left behind! For those staying in downtown steamboat the pickup location is... Wells Fargo Parking Lot: 320 Lincoln Ave, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487 For those staying on the mountain... Gondola Transit Center: 2305 Mt Werner Cir #2291 Steamboat Springs, CO 80487 There is a parking garage, a free Steamboat bus system, and many of you are staying within walking distance! For those staying at Gravity Haus or Legacy, there will be a shuttle pickup directly from there! If you prefer, there is also limited parking at the Lake Catamount Lakehouse which is just down the road from the venue. Shuttles will be taking everyone back to the original pickup location at the end of the night. If you miss the shuttles, contact Alex (phone number on our website home page).
