We recommend booking with www.airbnb.com to get more bang for your buck. Do not stay too far north, west, or south. Try to stay as close to the wedding area as possible.
If you wish to stay in a neighborhood, we recommend the following:
- Wicker Park (hipster lots of bars and food)
- Lake View East (where we live lots of foods and bars, 30's crowd, right on the lake)
- Boys Town (Gay neighborhood. Rainbow crosswalks. Super cute, amazing partying and dancing)
- Lincoln Park (Historic, beautiful, close to the zoo)
- Downtown (for a true big city vibe, everything closes super early)
- Logan Square (Try to find a place on Milwaukee do not go too far west as it is block by block. Super hipster tons of bars)
- Old town (late 30's crowd, tons of cute shopping and foods)
Chicago is safe, but please remember it is a big city. Be aware of your surroundings just like you would in any other big city.

TRAIN SYSTEM
We recommend getting a 3 or 7 day CTA pass depending on how long you wish to stay in the city. This pass can be used on the train and busses, unlimited. You can see the train and bus information on the Google Maps application. It is super easy to use, I swear.
