7/23/22 - We've been here before, and it's beautiful! We'll probably take Trail Ridge Road through Rocky Mountain National Park on our way to Aspen. It takes a little bit longer but has a lot of sights. Any one looking to come with us will need a timed entrance pass into the park. We have ours booked for entrance from 9-11 am on July 24th. 7/28/22 - 7/29/22: Mesa Verde National Park is an hour west. Also, Durango is known for having the #1 best scenic train ride experience. Hotel: Comfort Inn & Suites

Colorado Springs
7/29/22 - 7/31/22: We will probably stop at Great Dunes National Park, which is about halfway between Durango and Colorado Springs. Once in Colorado Springs, we hope to see the Garden of the Gods, the National Museum of WWII Aviation and drive up Pikes Peak. Airbnb: 408 North Corona St. It is walking distance to downtown.

7/31/22 - 8/2/22: Ending our Colorado portion of the trip in Denver! We are planning to go to the Rockies v. Dodgers on the 31st. Airbnb: 3908 Navajo Street. It's located in the PRIME LoHi / Sunnyside area.

8/2/22 - 8/4/22 On our way back home, we will be stopping for two nights in downtown Kansas City. Airbnb location: Executive Plaza Office Building, 720 Main Street.

8/4/22 - 8/5/22 The last stop on the trip will be St. Louis. We plan to go to the Cubs v Cardinals game that night. Hotel: Casino Queen Hotel. It is located across the river from downtown. It has free parking and looks like they provide a free shuttle to Cardinal games.
