We are madly in love and fall more in love everyday. We met through Bumble in SF right at a time I had just accepted a job offer in Dallas, Texas and we were both distraught from the 2016 elections. Things weren’t on our side from the start. Neither one of us was looking for anything serious, but fate had something else in mind. Love at first sight seemed like something you only see in a cheesy romcom but Cupid shot us both in the heart. Neither one of us had felt anything like this, especially on a first date. I had to tell her I was moving to Dallas on our third date (already hoping she might be open to continuing our relationship- maybe even be open to moving, it seemed crazy to want that so early on) and she broke down in tears. That’s when I knew I wasn’t crazy and that we were both feeling the same connection. We had two months to spend as much time as we could together and we didn’t skip a beat. I moved and we did long distance for an excruciating 7 months. FaceTiming every night and every morning, never missing a day. Lots of flights back home, even if it was for a 24hr visit. But we still made it through. We have been living in Dallas for two years now. We fully expected to leave TX for greener (and cooler) pastures by now but again, fate had something else in mind. We both found success here, great friends, an amazing creative community that we thrive in and our love grows stronger everyday. We have built our home together with our three pups and still hold each other tight every night, grateful that we get to be together everyday. We bring out the best in each other and are so lucky that we found true love. We are excited to spend forever together and would be grateful to have our family and friends with us as we say our vows, cementing our love and commitment. This will be a day full of love and only love.
