Not Hungry? Take a walk in the beautiful Public Gardens located on Summer Street. The Gardens will be in full bloom in August making it the best time of year to go. Plenty of photo opportunities as well.

You can't miss this historical site located in the center of downtown!! Citadel hill has one of the best views of the city at the top.
Pier 21 is an immigration museum located on the Halifax waterfront. History: Pier 21 would serve as a passenger terminal for trans-Atlantic Ocean liners from 1928 until 1971. The Pier was the primary point of entry for nearly one million immigrants and refugees from Europe and elsewhere, as well as the departure point for 496,000 military personnel Canadian troops during World War II. The facility became known informally as the 'Gateway to Canada.'

You'll see boats and ships from scaled models to life-size small craft spanning from the Days of Sail to the Age of Steam!

Get to spend a little extra time in N.S? Check out the lighthouse located in Peggy's Cove. This is a bit of a drive out but is well worth the drive. While you're at it ensure to grab a buttery lobster roll and take in the views.
