Amanda and De’Lorian (aka D’lo) met about 7 years ago through Midwest All Pro. Amanda knew of D’lo because she first saw him wrestling at shows, and then later when she started training at MAP. Admittedly, Amanda wasn’t quite sure what to think of D’lo because he never said anything to her. Rarely a hi, maybe a little wave, but nothing to bring about a serious conversation. In her mind, he was a pretty hard guy to read, but never really put much thought into being friends. Fast forward 2 years later. There were some brief conversations here and there, but nothing too in depth. Until one night when Amanda went to Woody’s bar to meet up with a couple of wrestling friends from MAP. D’lo showed up to hang out with everyone, and before Amanda knew it, it was only her and D’lo chatting at the table. That was the start of a friendship, that eventually turned into D’lo asking Amanda out on a date.

Amanda and D’lo talked for a few months, starting to learn more about each other and realized they had a lot more in common than just a love of wrestling. They were both Marvel movie fans, had similar styles in music, and loved football (though definitely not the same teams!). One night in August of 2019, D’lo brought flowers over to her apartment and asked her to be his girlfriend. It was a pretty quick yes. :)
