The Byward Market
Wander around one of the oldest markets in Canada, what we from Ottawa refer to as simply "The Market". The Market is in the centre of Ottawa's downtown city centre. There are lots of specialty shops and boutiques, as well as many restaurants and bars (lots of which Amanda worked at!)
The Rideau Centre
The Rideau Centre is Ottawa's most popular mall and is right in the downtown core
El Camino
Who wants to try Amanda's favorite tacos and margaritas? Check out El Camino - a mexican restaurant located right in the Byward Market
Mulligans Golf Bar
One of Dave's favorites! Mulligans is a gastropub offering delicious food (even brunch on Saturday's and Sunday's), cocktails, and a golf simulator
Parliament Hill
Parliament Hill sits in the middle of the city centre overlooking the Ottawa River and is free to visit. You can go inside or take a stroll around the many gardens
Dow's Lake Water Rentals
Located right outside of our wedding venue, rentals at Dows Lake Marina include canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and paddleboats
