What airport should we fly into?

Answer

Guests should fly into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), which is the closest and most convenient airport to the resort.

How do we get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

As long as you book through our travel agent, Sean, complimentary round-trip airport shuttle service will be provided for all guests as part of our wedding travel arrangements. No need to worry about coordinating transportation when you arrive — we’ve got you covered! If you book separately, just check with the resort to ensure arraignments are set.

Will transportation be provided during the wedding day?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place inside the resort. For guest convenience, resort shuttles and trolleys will be available to help you get around the property with ease.

When should we plan to arrive?

Answer

Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive at least one day prior to the wedding to allow time for travel, check-in, and relaxation before the big day. For those who are curious, our immediate family will be arriving on Saturday, March 28th.

Absolutely! Be sure to pack swimwear and beach/pool wear — expect some relaxing pool or beach time, optional resort-style fun, and room for casual outings or parties.

What’s the weather like in early April in Punta Cana?

Answer

In early April, you can expect warm and tropical weather. Daytime highs are typically around 82-86 °F (≈ 28–30 °C), with evenings cooling off to the mid-70s °F. Humidity will be noticeable, and there’s a chance of occasional showers — but overall, it’s a beautifully warm and beach-ready climate.

Absolutely — children are welcome, and our kids will be right there with us on our big day.

What about accessibility or mobility needs?

Answer

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana is wheelchair-friendly and offers accessible rooms (including mobility-friendly suites) on request. Each building has elevators, and public spaces like restaurants, the lobby, and entertainment areas are accessible. If you or someone in your party needs accommodation for mobility or accessibility, please reach out and we’ll help coordinate specific room requests or additional support.

Yes — we expect the resort’s all-inclusive offerings to include a range of dining options; if you have any dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, allergies, etc.), we encourage you to let us know.

Our wedding is at an all-inclusive resort — so food and drinks (including alcoholic beverages) are covered, along with the resort’s many activities.

What should guests know about currency, tipping, or local customs?

Answer

US dollars are widely accepted and commonly used for tips at resorts. For tipping at a typical all-inclusive resort in this area, many travelers leave $1–$3 per drink or round of drinks, $2–$5 per meal (for waitstaff), and $1–$2 per bag for bellhops or luggage handlers. For housekeeping, a tip of $5–$10 per day is often appreciated.
