American Dream is an entertainment & retail center in NJ, only 10 minutes away from the Renaissance Meadowlands Hotel. They have an indoor theme park, water park, ski slope, & high-end luxury stores - plenty of fun things to do if you have some down time!
One of our favorite venues to frequent - just a hop skip and a jump away from the hotel! If you have time and want to check out a comedy show, concert, etc. take a look at their site and see if there are any shows during your stay. We're also happy to provide dinner recommendations in the area if you're looking for a bite to eat before/after your event.
If the weather is nice and looking to visit NYC while you're in the area, the NY Waterway has a ferry out of Weehawken - just a 30 minute drive from the hotel! The ferry takes you right into midtown (W39th St.) however, can provide train recommendations from NJ if that's preferred.
Come spend the day at one of the places we had our first dates, The Van Vleck House & Gardens located in Montclair, NJ. It's admission free and a lovely way to spend a nice day if you have some down time. Food is not permitted at the gardens however, Montclair has MANY restaurants/diners. Feel free to ask us for recommendations if you're looking for places to go for breakfast/lunch/dinner.
