Cody and Amanda matched on Bumble in September 2023. Amanda had just joined Bumble and Cody had not been on there very long either. Their first date was just a few days later at Dairy Queen. They planned to meet for ice cream, but the ice cream machine was broken so they each got a Sprite and sat outside talking until Dairy Queen closed. They were both nervous, but the conversation came so easily. It was hard to meet with Cody being a teacher and Amanda an athletic trainer working evenings, but the took every chance they got to see each other even if it was just 10 minutes in the car after a game. They began talking about the future and on June 29, 2024, Cody proposed to Amanda at The Parthenon in Nashville during her family's reunion. They also bought a house together in June 2024 and can't wait to see where their adventure takes them!
